The 1994 appears to be the finest Mouton-Rothschild made following the 1986 and before the 1995's conception. The wine exhibits a dense, saturated purple color, followed by a classic Mouton nose of sweet black fruits intermingled with smoke, pain grillee, spice, and cedar. Medium to full-bodied, with outstanding concentration, a layered feel, plenty of tannin, and rich, concentrated fruit, this wine is similar to the fine 1988. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2025. By the way, the Dutch artist, Appel, has created a gorgeous label for the 1994. Although Mouton-Rothschild can be among the most inconsistent first-growths, when this estate gets everything right, the wine can be as compelling as any produced in Bordeaux.(The Wine Advocate, Feb 28, 1997) ¿Í¡¹¤ò̥λ¤¹¤ë¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È Chateau Mouton Rothschild ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó¤Î¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë¤Ï¡¢1924ǯ¤Ë¥Õ¥£¥ê¥Ã¥×¡¦¥É¡¦¥í¥¹¥Á¥ã¥¤¥ë¥ÉÃ˼ߤ¬¥Ý¥¹¥¿¡¼²è²È¥¸¥ã¥ó¡¦¥«¥ë¥ê¥å¤Ë°ÍÍꤷ¤¿¤Î¤¬»Ï¤Þ¤ê¤Ç¤·¤¿¡£¤½¤Î¸å¡¢1945ǯ¤«¤é¤Ï¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë¤¬Ëèǯ´ë²è¤µ¤ì¤ë¤è¤¦¤Ë¤Ê¤ê¡¢¥·¥ã¥¬¡¼¥ë¡¢¥Ô¥«¥½¡¢¥À¥ê¤È¤¤¤Ã¤¿µð¾¢¥¢¡¼¥Æ¥£¥¹¥È¤òµ¯ÍÑ¡£¥à¡¼¥È¥ó¤ÎÂî±Û¤·¤¿ÉʼÁ¤â¤µ¤ë¤³¤È¤Ê¤¬¤é¡¢¤½¤Î¥é¥Ù¥ë¤ÎÍ¥¤ì¤¿·Ý½ÑÀ¤«¤é¡¢À¤³¦Ãæ¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó°¦¹¥²È¤Ë¹â¤¤»Ù»ý¤ò¼õ¤±¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È °ìÍ÷¤Ø

The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, the Merlot content lending this Pauillac its trademark fleshiness and roundness, yet there is clearly structure here (not always a trait of this Pauillac growth). It will develop more complexity and personality with bottle age, but at the moment you can sit back and just admire the cohesion and superb length. This sensational effort came in at 12.7% natural alcohol, it is made in the style of one of this estate¡Çs great classics, the 1959. Composed of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color to the rim along with a luxurious bouquet of cedarwood, lead pencil shaving, white chocolate, cocoa and cassis. Fat, rich, opulent and full-bodied with low acidity and stunning seductiveness and complexity, this noble wine possesses a bountiful, generous, heady style. It is just coming into its plateau of maturity where it should hold for 20-25 years. But as it transpires, this First Growth is just toying with you. Initially quite understated, it responds to aeration like a young child peeking from around a corner and then running out, waving its hands. It suddenly hits you with gorgeous black cherries, bilberry, cedar and wilted rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with a silky smooth entry. This is utterly seductive: a wine without a hair out of place. It is not as powerful or as complex as the 2015 Mouton-Rothschild, yet the precision and focus here is beguiling. It will require five to seven years to absorb the 100% new oak, then it will be an utterly delicious and to use a term employed at en primeur, "cerebral" First Growth that is destined to give two or three decades of pleasure.(Interim End of March 2017, The Wine Advocate 1st Apr 2017) ¿Í¡¹¤ò̥λ¤¹¤ë¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È Chateau Mouton Rothschild ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó¤Î¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë¤Ï¡¢1924ǯ¤Ë¥Õ¥£¥ê¥Ã¥×¡¦¥É¡¦¥í¥¹¥Á¥ã¥¤¥ë¥ÉÃ˼ߤ¬¥Ý¥¹¥¿¡¼²è²È¥¸¥ã¥ó¡¦¥«¥ë¥ê¥å¤Ë°ÍÍꤷ¤¿¤Î¤¬»Ï¤Þ¤ê¤Ç¤·¤¿¡£¤½¤Î¸å¡¢1945ǯ¤«¤é¤Ï¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë¤¬Ëèǯ´ë²è¤µ¤ì¤ë¤è¤¦¤Ë¤Ê¤ê¡¢¥·¥ã¥¬¡¼¥ë¡¢¥Ô¥«¥½¡¢¥À¥ê¤È¤¤¤Ã¤¿µð¾¢¥¢¡¼¥Æ¥£¥¹¥È¤òµ¯ÍÑ¡£¥à¡¼¥È¥ó¤ÎÂî±Û¤·¤¿ÉʼÁ¤â¤µ¤ë¤³¤È¤Ê¤¬¤é¡¢¤½¤Î¥é¥Ù¥ë¤ÎÍ¥¤ì¤¿·Ý½ÑÀ¤«¤é¡¢À¤³¦Ãæ¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó°¦¹¥²È¤Ë¹â¤¤»Ù»ý¤ò¼õ¤±¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È °ìÍ÷¤Ø

Again, like the bottle at the vertical in May last year, there is an element of Pessac-Léognan on the nose, just a hint of warm gravel. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, quite compact with a foursquare finish of blackberry, tobacco and a pinch of white pepper. It has an attractive, slightly leafy bouquet armed with cedar and pencil lead. There is less fruit concentration than I expected, resolutely classic, slightly austere Bordeaux. The palate follows suit. What it lacks in substance it compensates with in balance and personality. This is an understated Mouton-Rothschild that is probably at its peak, although I envisage this offering another two decades of pleasure. The result is an outstanding 2003 Mouton-Rothschild, but it is not one of the superstars of Pauillac or the Northern Médoc. Its nearby neighbors, Lafite-Rothschild, Cos d¡ÇEstournel and Montrose, all produced wines that qualitatively dominate this effort from Mouton-Rothschild. Nevertheless, there is a lot to like. The tannins, which were so tough initially, have softened somewhat, and the nose offers up notes of cedarwood, roasted coffee, tobacco leaf and red and blackcurrants. This spicy, earthy, fleshy, medium to full-bodied 2003 is not one of the stars of the vintage. It is close to full maturity, where it should remain for another 10-15 years.(216, The Wine Advocate 30th Dec 2014) ¿Í¡¹¤ò̥λ¤¹¤ë¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È Chateau Mouton Rothschild ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó¤Î¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë¤Ï¡¢1924ǯ¤Ë¥Õ¥£¥ê¥Ã¥×¡¦¥É¡¦¥í¥¹¥Á¥ã¥¤¥ë¥ÉÃ˼ߤ¬¥Ý¥¹¥¿¡¼²è²È¥¸¥ã¥ó¡¦¥«¥ë¥ê¥å¤Ë°ÍÍꤷ¤¿¤Î¤¬»Ï¤Þ¤ê¤Ç¤·¤¿¡£¤½¤Î¸å¡¢1945ǯ¤«¤é¤Ï¥¢¡¼¥È¥é¥Ù¥ë¤¬Ëèǯ´ë²è¤µ¤ì¤ë¤è¤¦¤Ë¤Ê¤ê¡¢¥·¥ã¥¬¡¼¥ë¡¢¥Ô¥«¥½¡¢¥À¥ê¤È¤¤¤Ã¤¿µð¾¢¥¢¡¼¥Æ¥£¥¹¥È¤òµ¯ÍÑ¡£¥à¡¼¥È¥ó¤ÎÂî±Û¤·¤¿ÉʼÁ¤â¤µ¤ë¤³¤È¤Ê¤¬¤é¡¢¤½¤Î¥é¥Ù¥ë¤ÎÍ¥¤ì¤¿·Ý½ÑÀ¤«¤é¡¢À¤³¦Ãæ¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó°¦¹¥²È¤Ë¹â¤¤»Ù»ý¤ò¼õ¤±¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥à¡¼¥È¥ó ¥í¡¼¥È¥·¥ë¥È °ìÍ÷¤Ø

The 1993 is a beautifully made wine which could be considered a sleeper of the vintage. The wine boasts a dark purple color, followed by a sweet, pain grillee, roasted nut, and cassis-scented bouquet that is just beginning to open. In the mouth, the wine may not possess the body and volume of a vintage such as 1990 or 1989, but there is more richness of fruit, a sweet, ripe, pureness to the wine, as well as medium body and outstanding balance. This moderately tannic, well-focused, surprisingly rich 1993 is capable of 15-20 years of evolution. This was a hot, dry vintage, which can be a challenge for vines on such free-draining soils as the deep gravel-mounds composing the backbone of Mouton¡Çs vineyards. The effect of the struggling vines is apparent in the wine, yielding less density and chewier tannins. Nonetheless, the terroir's pedigree clearly glimmers in the background. The wine displays a brick color with subtle, compellingly elegant redcurrant jelly, dried cranberries and powdered cinnamon notes plus wafts of potpourri, dried figs, unsmoked cigars and dusty soil. Medium-bodied, it is notably far more delicately fruited than one would expect of Mouton, structured with bold freshness and a light chew of tannins before finishing on a mineral note. Indeed, it is skinny compared to great vintages, but it is aging gracefully. A strong argument can be made that in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004, Latour produced the wine of the vintage, although it has plenty of competition in the Northern Medoc in 2003. Moreover, the bargains are the estate¡Çs least expensive cuvee, Pauillac, followed by Les Forts de Latour, Latour¡Çs second wine which continues to increase in quality.(The Wine Advocate, Apr 24, 2006) Áñ¸·¤«¤ÄÎ϶¯¤¤¥¹¥¿¥¤¥ë ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥é¥È¥¥¡¼¥ë Chateau Latour 5Â祷¥ã¥È¡¼¤ÎÃæ¤Ç¤â¾ï¤ËºÇ¹â¤ÎÉʼÁ¤Èɾ²Á¤µ¤ì¤ë¥·¥ã¥È¡¼¡¦¥é¥È¥¥¡¼¥ë¡£¥é¥È¥¥¡¼¥ë¤Î¥·¥ó¥Ü¥ë¤Ç¤â¤¢¤ëÅã¤Ï¡¢ÃæÀ¤¥è¡¼¥í¥Ã¥Ñ¤Ë·úÀߤµ¤ì¤¿Í׺ɤǤ¹¡£¥é¥È¥¥¡¼¥ë¤â¥é¥Õ¥£¥Ã¥È¤ÈƱ¤¸¤¯¡¢18À¤µª¤Ë¥Ë¥³¥é¡¦¥¢¥ì¥¥µ¥ó¥É¥ë¡¦¥»¥®¥å¡¼¥ë¸ô¼ß¤Ë½êͤµ¤ì¡¢É¾È½¤ò¹â¤á¤Æ¤¤¤Ã¤¿Îò»Ë¤¬¤¢¤ê¤Þ¤¹¡£¥é¥È¥¥¡¼¥ë¤ÎÂ礤ÊÆÃħ¤Î¤Ò¤È¤Ä¤¬¡¢Èª¤ÎȾʬ°Ê¾å¤òÀê¤á¤ë¡Ö¥é¥ó¥¯¥í¡×¤È¸Æ¤Ð¤ì¤ë¥¨¥ê¥¢¤Ç¤¹¡£¤³¤Î¥¨¥ê¥¢¤Ï¿å¤Ï¤±¤Î¤è¤¤º½Íø¼Á¤ÎÅÚ¾í¤Ç¡¢¥¸¥í¥ó¥ÉÀ¤é²¹¤«¤¤É÷¤¬Î®¤ì¤ë¤³¤È¤Ë¤è¤ê¡¢²áÅ٤ʲ¹ÅÙÊѲ½¤òËɻߤ·¡¢¾å¼Á¤Ê¥«¥Ù¥ë¥Í¡¦¥½¡¼¥ô¥£¥Ë¥è¥ó¤ò¼ý³Ï¤¹¤ë¤³¤È¤¬¤Ç¤¤Þ¤¹¡£¾ú¤ÊýË¡¤Ë¤â¤³¤À¤ï¤ê¡¢ÀΤʤ¬¤é¤Î¼êË¡¤ÈºÇÀèü¤Îµ»½Ñ¤ÎξÊý¤òºÎ¤êÆþ¤ì¤ë¤³¤È¤Ç¡¢°ÂÄꤷ¤¿ÉʼÁ¤Î¥ï¥¤¥ó¤òÀ¸¤ß½Ð¤·Â³¤±¤Æ¤¤¤Þ¤¹¡£ ¥·¥ã¥È¡¼ ¥é¥È¥¥¡¼¥ë °ìÍ÷¤Ø

There are only 10,000 cases of this extraordinarily rich, dense 2002 that is as powerful as the 2003 (even the alcohol levels are nearly the same, 12.85%) . It is dark ruby/purple to the rim, with notes of English walnuts, crushed rocks, black currants, and forest floor, dense, full-bodied, and opulent, yet classic with spectacular aromatics, marvelous purity, and a full-bodied finish that lasts just over 50+ seconds. Huge richness and the sweetness of the tannin are somewhat deceptive as this wine seems set for a long life. Administrator Frederic Engerer seems to be more pleased with what Latour achieved in 2002 than in any other recent vintage. Hats off to him for an extraordinary accomplishment in a vintage that wouldn¡Çt have been expected to produce the raw materials to achieve something at this level of quality. This medium dark ruby, elegant, medium-bodied wine will never be a great or legendary Mouton. The flavors are ripe and moderately rich.
